Sorry, but what a load of s***. I especially laugh at number 9 in conjunction with 15 and 23. So as a man you are supposed to "be yourself" but a a woman wants to pay you are supposed to assume SHE is not being herself. Wow, that sets women up as manipulative. Not only that, there are women who DO NOT like men to pay their way, and insisting on it is likely to screw his chances for another date. I got one that is called "Listen to what you date wants and openly communicate what you want."

There is no magic behaviour on a first date.
As for not being cheap, not everyone makes a lot of money, and not being well off does not mean you should not get to date. I would think, "Take your date to a place you can afford" would be better advice.

ReplyDeleteIf you have any class at all, you would know that you should never let a women pay. As a man, it is your duty to step up. Lots of men are shy, and women don't like that.
As for your comment on not being cheap, you misinterpreted the list. What I meant was that you shouldn't take a lady to a place that you cannot afford and then whine about how much everything cost in front of your date; it looks bad.
Wow the way I was raised you don't "let" another human being do anything. Maybe girls are different in Canada, but if my girl Ali, every time she goes on a first date she makes it clear they go dutch. Any guy who tries to insist on paying NEVER gets a second date. It shows a lack of respect. As for shy, I know there are girls who do not like shy guys, and there are girls who do. But I do not think being anyone other than who you are on a date is a good idea. It's a waste of time for both of them..
