Music is a part of everyone's life. We hear music all the time, whether it's out of those Apple headphones that came with your iPod or those new beats you got for Christmas. But in the first Bang For Your Buck post, we're going to be discussing Skullcandy Over-the- ear Hesh headphones vs. the Beats by Dr.Dre Studio headphones. Links to both products below.

1. Price

The Beats cost significantly more at a price of $300 while the Skullcandies cost $30. If I were to lose the beats, I would be pretty upset. 

2. Look

Skullcandies have a more personal touch to them that has a connection to your style of music, while The Beats are more classy and simple.

3. Sound Quality

While both headphones have superior sound quality over other brands, the Beats obviously win in this situation because the speakers are powered by batteries and are much more powerful.

Overall Comparison: 

The best bang for your buck depends on 2 things. 1- Are you looking for the best sound possible with money not being a problem? Go for the beats. 2. Are you looking for decent sound with a decent price tag? Go for the Skullcandies

I've had both headphones and there is a major difference. The beats engulf you with sound and are amazing, but I usually take my Skullcandies everywhere I go, just in case they get stolen or lost. If I have my Skullcandies on, they have decent sound, and they look personalized.
